Genetically modified foods are as safe as any other foods.

Q43

『英語の構文150 Second Edition』の構文101の練習問題402に次の(1)の文が使われていますが、as safe as any other foodsfoodsは単数形のfoodでなくてもいいのですか。

(1)

Many scientists claim that genetically modified foods are as safe as any other foods.

A43

構文101の標題が「as+原級+as any+単数名詞(A), etc.」

(2)

He is as diligent as any student in his class.

実は、ご質問いただいた構文101「as+原級+as any+単数名詞(A), etc.」

(14)

The two boys are taller than any other boys...

(16)

Jane liked roses better than any other flowers.

(1) Jane liked roses better than any other flower.
(2) Jane liked roses better than any other flowers. [

(3) Jane liked the rose better than any other.

She claims that smokers are just as responsible for their children's health as any other parents.
